Last week was an impressive one for cruise and credit card news.
When I received an email from Delta Air Lines that the annual fee would be going up on my Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, I was grateful to see that TPG’s credit card team was on top of the news with a story that helped me figure out how to squeeze enough value out of the card thanks to some new perks and enhancements to existing benefits.
There’s also an exciting elevated welcome offer for one of my most-used cards, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card. When I signed up, I received a three-free-night welcome offer, but now you can earn five free night awards (valued at up to 50,000 points each) after spending $5,000 on purchases in your first three months from account opening. That’s in addition to the card’s many other perks, and it carries only a $95 annual fee. If I didn’t already have this card, I’d be jumping all over those five free nights.
