While Black Friday isn’t until next week, the sales are starting earlier and earlier each year. We’ve got you covered, whether it’s holiday gifts or travel deals you might be after.
Speaking of travel, if you are a United Airlines loyalist or considering becoming one, perhaps because you’re based in a United hub like I am, now is a good time to amass a large chunk of rewards through the sign-up bonuses on its cobranded credit cards.
Let’s start with the United Club Infinite Card, which is offering 90,000 bonus United MileagePlus miles after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first three months of account opening. For a $525 annual fee, this card earns 4 miles per dollar on United purchases and 2 miles per dollar on other travel and dining.
Plus, this card comes with a whole host of perks, including complimentary United Club airport lounge access and a statement credit that covers the application fees associated with Global Entry and TSA PreCheck.
Another card to consider is the United Quest Card, which, for half the annual fee ($250), offers new cardholders 70,000 bonus miles and 500 Premier qualifying points after they spend $4,000 within the first three months.
In addition to earning 3 miles per dollar on United purchases* and 2 miles per dollar on other travel, dining and select streaming services, you also get the same Global Entry and TSA PreCheck statement credits, along with up to $125 in annual statement credits for United purchases, the ability to check two bags for free, and more.
For a card with a low or no annual fee, the United Explorer Card ($95 annual fee, waived the first year) and the United Gateway Card ($0 annual fee) are worth considering, and both earn 2 miles per dollar on United purchases.
