On a trip to Japan a few weeks ago for a Princess cruise, for instance, I was able to pack lighter and save a significant amount of money by maximizing the unlimited free laundry service that comes with my Elite status — a perk I often forget.
I also took full advantage of other Elite perks like access to a special onboard lounge, free admission to an extra-charge wine tasting and a complimentary minibar setup. All in all, these perks were worth hundreds of dollars.
