Up to 150K on a $95 card: Why I can't stop thinking about this offer

In case you missed it, last week Capital One rolled out its new business card – the Capital One Venture Business – and it’s already a smash hit with our readers.
Considering all this card has to offer – including a generous welcome bonus of up to 150,000 miles despite only having a $95 annual fee – this popularity is no surprise.
New cardholders can earn up to 150,000 bonus miles — 75,000 bonus miles after spending $7,500 on purchases in the first three months from account opening, plus another 75,000 bonus miles if you spend $30,000 in the first six months.
This is an exceptionally big offer for a $95-per-year card. Sure, those are some pretty big spending requirements, but any business owner with $10,000 per month in expenses – or who is looking to scale up, invest in a project, hire a contractor, etc. – could easily clear those spending tiers and garner thousands of dollars worth of travel.
Even if your expenses only get you to the first tier, 75,000 Capital One miles are worth a solid $1,388, per our April 2026 valuations. And hitting that second tier would mean a massive $2,775 in value.
Plus, since the Venture Business earns unlimited 2 miles per dollar on every purchase, that $30,000 in spending would earn you another 60,000 miles (at least) beyond the bonus! (So up to 210,000 miles total!)
That’s an enormous pile of miles you can transfer to any of Capital One’s 15-plus travel partners to really maximize redemptions, or keep things simple and use them to cover any travel purchase at a fixed 1-cent-per-mile rate.
And here’s another thing: even the low $95 annual fee is basically a wash, since it comes with an annual $50 credit for Capital One Business Travel and up to $50 each year for advertising and software purchases.
Plus, none of this gets complicated. These are incredibly simple and straightforward rewards – the kind you don’t need a spreadsheet to keep track of. As much as I love big multipliers on my favorite spending categories, you can’t argue with the value and simplicity that comes with earning unlimited double miles on everything.
Again, it’s so rare to see such a high-value offer of up to 150,000 bonus miles on such a low-cost card. Even if you weren’t in the market for a new business card, this first-year value this one delivers is definitely worth a look!
