It’s “new year, new habits” time, and if one of your resolutions is to travel more (or at least travel smarter) let’s make this the moment you stop leaving free rewards currency on the table.
As we’ve said before, points and miles are simply too valuable for businesses to ignore. Every invoice, ad bill, software subscription and supply order is an opportunity to earn travel. Yet many business owners pay their accounts and move on, overlooking the value those transactions can generate.
This year, let’s change that. Earning strategic rewards doesn’t have to be complicated, and the upside can be huge.
Make monthly check-ins a habit. Set a recurring calendar reminder to check in on your points balances. Make sure they’re growing (and not expiring) so you avoid letting hard-earned rewards go unused. Remember: sitting on them too long is a bad long-term investment.
The best part is you don’t need to spend more — you just need to be intentional.
Kick off 2026 with a smarter system, and by the time the holidays roll around again, your business spending could be powering your next vacation. Not a bad resolution to keep.
