We’re on site with Copa Airlines, where we’ve already chatted with the carrier’s CEO and executive team and are set to tour the carrier’s facilities today at the company’s home base here.
Copa is the latest stop on the TPG Aviation team’s tour of airline headquarters that’s included Allegiant Air, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Southwest Airlines — just since July! With everything from interviews with airline leaders to trying our hand in airline flight simulators (that hasn’t been pretty), it’s all part of how we work to get you the inside scoop on the latest aviation news. And, as always, there was the usual flurry of route updates. American will battle JetBlue on a new route from Boston, while Delta announced which route — make that routes — it would add after leaving that to a vote of its frequent flyers. Other routes in the news since last time include:
