When it opens June 30, the Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton will become the first all-inclusive property in the Dominican Republic under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand. It will also be the 10th Hilton all-inclusive property in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Located about 60 miles from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) in the coastal town of Miches, this 500-room all-inclusive resort overlooks the clear waters and sandy, white shores of the secluded Playa Esmeralda.

"Travelers can now start planning their visit to Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, where we will delight them with the undiscovered, pristine beauty of the Dominican Republic and an elevated new standard for all-inclusive vacations," Manuela Fahringer, general manager of the resort, said in a press release. "Our resort is more than a place to vacation, it's an immersive experience in Dominican culture that will come to life through gastronomy, programming and the surroundings."

The resort's design is inspired by the culture of the Taino people, who were historically indigenous to the Caribbean. Guests can expect to see natural tones and textures alongside a minimalist design that allows the area's lush natural beauty to take center stage. Guests can also participate in daily art and cultural activities.

Rooms will incorporate earthy woods, stonework and sophisticated furnishings. Of the 500 guest rooms, 123 are ground-level swim-up rooms with individual plunge pools that connect to one of the resort's main pools, and 18 are freestanding bungalows.

The resort is also home to 11 dining and bar venues with global cuisines inspired by the Caribbean, Thailand and the Amalfi Coast; a kids and teens club; a sprawling pool complex with a water park; a fitness center with a juice bar and fitness classes; and a spa that will have 11 treatment rooms, a salon and a sauna.

The opening of Zemi Miches will further bolster the brand's portfolio in the Caribbean. Hilton already has nearly 30 properties in the region and approximately 30 more in development, a portion of which will contribute to the company's plans to nearly triple its portfolio in the Dominican Republic over the next few years.
