If you have the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) in your wallet, Chase and Hyatt have a great summer surprise: the chance to earn up to 100,000 points by planning a glamping trip.

Last year, Under Canvas, a collection of glamping retreats around the U.S., joined World of Hyatt, opening up a new way to experience the outdoors to points and miles enthusiasts.

Now, World of Hyatt members with the World of Hyatt Credit Card can earn 20 total bonus points per dollar spent, up to 100,000 points, at all 13 Under Canvas locations, plus the even more luxe Ulum Moab in Utah, for stays between June 1 and Sept. 7 when booking through World of Hyatt.

You just need to register for the promotion online with your World of Hyatt number by June 10. (And even if you don't have plans to go glamping right now, maybe still register in case those plans change!)

Hyatt breaks the earnings down as follows:

  • 5 base points per eligible dollar spent for being a World of Hyatt member
  • 4 bonus points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and resorts
  • 11 additional bonus points per eligible dollar spent

(Of course, the fine details can all be found in the promotion's terms and conditions.)

If you do have the card and the itch to hit the great outdoors, the only question now is: Where should you go?

Under Canvas has locations throughout the country and right at the front door of some of the nation's most beautiful places, landscapes and national parks.

Two new locations are at the top of TPG's list to visit: the Under Canvas outposts near Yosemite National Park in California and the Columbia River Gorge in White Salmon, Washington. In fact, the Columbia River Gorge property made TPG's list of the most exciting hotel openings of 2025 thanks to its proximity to Washington's popular wine scene, access to hiking in the Cascades, morning yoga and nightly fire pits.

Or, experience the beauty of the Smoky Mountains at Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains, then spend a day riding roller coasters and eating cinnamon bread at Dollywood, Dolly Parton's incredible theme park down the street.

With an average nightly rate of about $604 for a family tent at Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains, you could earn nearly 50,000 bonus points on a four-night stay, which puts you well on your way to your next great stay at a World of Hyatt property.

If you don't have the "World of Hyatt Credit Card, it's not too late to sign up for this popular card that frequently earns a spot in TPG staffers' wallets. Right now, you could earn up to 60,000 points: 30,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening and up to 30,000 more bonus points by earning 2 bonus points total per $1 spent in the first six months from account opening on up to $15,000 spent.
