If you are a Chase cardholder heading to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships in New York this year, you'll get a chance to enjoy the action from the Chase Lounge and Terrace.

Here's everything you need to know about securing your spot.

All Chase cardholders

All Chase cardholders, regardless of card, can access the Chase Lounge from Aug. 19 to Sept. 8 for both Fan Week and tournament action. The lounge will be closed for session 18 and sessions 20 through 25.

TPG will be reviewing the lounge live next week. But, even without our insight, you can certainly expect complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic beverages, a cash bar, free hats, custom embroidery, complimentary happy hour and a live ESPN broadcast — all accompanied by the comforts of air conditioning, of course.

Reservations must be made online for the tournament (starting Aug. 26), but cardholders can stop by on a first-come, first-served basis during Fan Week, which takes place Aug. 19-25. The lounge will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every weekday except Wednesday.

During the tournament, lounge reservations will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day.

Once cardholders make their reservation, they'll receive an onscreen and email confirmation with a QR code that they will need to use to check in at the Chase Lounge kiosk. Note that cardholders will need to create a new account if their previous account was created before August 2023.

As of Aug. 21, the lounge is currently waitlisted, but you can sign up to be notified of openings via email.

In addition to the lounge, cardholders can access the Chase Terrace again this year on a first-come, first-served basis for outside tennis viewing, complimentary snacks, a cash bar and more. The terrace will be located at the grandstand and have views of courts 8 through 10. During Fan Week, the terrace is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during the tournament it'll be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Additionally, there will be more than 40,000 complimentary Chase-branded mobile charging units throughout the grounds.

Lastly, all cardholders can access the South Plaza booths for Chase "ATMs," which distribute cobranded giveaways, mobile chargers, Chase Pass information and an immersive photo moment.

Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders

Those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) can participate in Sapphire Clinics with Andy Roddick on Aug. 26 and 27 for a tennis class on the roof of Pier 17. Clinics can be booked via Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Reserve cardholders can also book their spot to see Roddick tape a live episode of the tennis podcast "Served" on Aug. 21. Additionally, there will be an audience Q&A with Roddick, followed by a cocktail party.

Reserve cardholders can also book time via the Ultimate Rewards portal to play tennis daily.

Both Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees) cardholders can visit the Seaport Sapphire Lounge for a free cocktail and appetizer, tennis viewing and other tennis-themed touch points.
