World of Hyatt members have plenty of reasons to don their mourning veils as of late.

The loyalty partnership between Hyatt and MGM Resorts severed, and Marriott is now the hotel conglomerate of choice for the Las Vegas gaming giant. More recently, Small Luxury Hotels of the World — a great way for World of Hyatt loyalists to have bespoke luxury options in a variety of cities and towns around the world — announced a plan that will see the Hyatt partnership end in favor of one with Hilton.

That’s a gut punch for Hyatt, as SLH gave Hyatt a presence in many international markets that didn’t have an actual Hyatt-branded hotel.

Luckily, there is still time to enjoy an SLH stay — and earn Hyatt points in the process — before the group walks down the aisle with Hilton, though a set timeline on when the partnership will end isn't clear.

"At this time, World of Hyatt members can still book participating SLH Hotels on Hyatt’s booking channels, and nothing changes as of now for existing World of Hyatt member reservations," a Hyatt spokesperson told TPG in early February. "More information on the end of this relationship will be shared with guests and members in the coming months."

I polled the TPG newsroom for some of my colleagues’ favorite SLH properties so you know which ones to try to book before the partnership concludes. Here’s our not-so-definitive list of SLH properties to reserve before they leave World of Hyatt.

  • Galleria Vik Milano (Milan): Colorful, minimalist rooms at this boutique hotel in the heart of Milan are perfect retreats after a day of shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II just outside — or perfect for tossing your designer shopping bags before a night on the city.
  • The George (Christchurch, New Zealand): Soak in views of the Avon River amid the contemporary design of this intimate hotel in the heart of New Zealand’s second-largest city.
  • Domaine de Manville (Les-Baux-de-Provence, France): This former estate is now a luxe French country getaway complete with a spa, a golf course and decadent dining.

  • Point Grace Resort and Spa (Providenciales, Turks and Caicos): Don’t forget to get out of the cozy canopy beds in this all-suite resort and make it to the beach or the spa, though we won’t blame you if you want to indulge in an extra day or two of rest and relaxation while in this Caribbean paradise.
  • Flemings Mayfair (London): Luxury real estate aficionados, there’s no need to break the bank on a Mayfair townhouse purchase. Just indulge in a stay at Flemings Mayfair, where we love the decadence of the two-story, three-bedroom apartment complete with a private entrance and a full-size kitchen.
  • Le Vallon de Valrugues & Spa (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France): Revel in the mountainside views and sip the best French wine in this sleek hotel in Provence. Consider splurging on one of the villas with a private pool for an extra dose of luxury.
  • Rawah Ranch (Jelm, Colorado): The country western ranch gets a serious luxury glow-up at this cabin-filled resort in the Laramie River Valley.
  • Nimb Hotel (Copenhagen): Don’t let the imposing palatial exterior scare you off. Nimb Hotel is an oasis of small luxury spread across 38 guest rooms and suites (opt for one with a working fireplace). You’ll find us kicking back with a cocktail by the rooftop pool.
  • Crossbasket Castle (Glasgow, Scotland): Live life — or, at least, your next vacation — like a scene from “The Crown” in this lavish castle in suburban Glasgow.
  • The Lodge & Spa at Pico Bonito (La Ceiba, Honduras): There’s no greener getaway than this 400-acre resort in the Honduran rainforest complete with private cabins perfect for lounging with a book in a hammock on your private veranda.
