Save 20% on Marriott Hotel eGiftCards - Today Only
Today only, you can buy discounted Marriott Hotel electronic gift cards through the Daily Getaways, an assortment of daily discounts and deals with various travel brands and loyalty programs sponsored by the US Travel Association.
Today's deal goes live at 1 pm ET. Here's what's being offered:
- $100 Marriott eGiftCard for $80 — 410 available (maximum purchase limit 5)
- $500 Marriott eGiftCard for $400 — 308 available (maximum purchase limit 2)
- $1,000 Marriott eGiftCard for $900 — 75 available (maximum purchase limit 1)
Each of these deals offers a discount of 20% on Marriott eGiftCards, which you can use like cash at over 4,000 participating properties, including Ritz-Carlton hotels. In addition to hotel stays, the eGiftCards can be redeemed for dining, spa treatments, rounds of golf and more, even if you're not a guest at the property.
If you have upcoming paid Marriott stays, this deal is a no-brainer. If you don't have a paid stay planned, but know you'll use the gift card eventually and can afford to front the balance, then you may as well get in on the savings, especially since the eGiftCards never expire.

Since these eGiftCards function like cash at Marriott properties, one benefit is that you'll earn points and elite credits for your stay, so you can work your way toward Marriott Rewards Platinum status at a discount. Of course, you'll also earn points on whatever card you use to buy the eGiftCard in the first place, so your effective discount is even greater than 20%.
Marriott specifies you'll receive your gift card within 10-14 business days of purchase, so note the timing in case you have a stay planned in the next few weeks. While there are a fair number of gift cards available, I expect them to sell out quickly, so be ready to buy at 1 pm ET if you're interested.
If you need some ideas for where to spend your Marriott gift cards, check out Lane Nieset's recent post on the Top 8 Marriott Autograph Collection Hotels. Nick Ewen's post on 9 Marriott Properties that Make for Awesome Award Redemptions focuses on using points, but you'll find some inspiring ideas there too!
