Saturday Recap: Double or Triple Virgin America Elevate Points, Double TrueBlue points with Hilton, 20,000 bonus AAdvantage Miles On Flights to Lima, Bonus Alaska Airlines Miles with Avis
Here's a recap of the interesting points and miles news from this week:

Double or Triple Virgin America Elevate Points: Now through June 30, 2013, Virgin America Elevate members can earn either double or even triple points on West Coast flights. Elevate members will earn double points on all qualifying flights from SFO to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Portland, San Diego, and Seattle; and triple points after flying three round-trips on flights from SFO to Austin and Philadelphia. They'll earn double points on all qualifying flights from LAX to Portland and Seattle, and triple points after three roundtrips from LA to Vegas or Philadelphia; and triple points after three roundtrips from San Jose to LAX. The bonus points earned will count toward Elevate Silver or Elevate Gold status. To be eligible, Elevate members must first register prior to flying. Most revenue booking classes in Main Cabin, Main Cabin Select or First Class will qualify. The bonus points will be posted 4-6 weeks after the flight has been flown.

Earn up to 20,000 bonus AAdvantage Miles On Flights from Dallas to Lima: American is offering AAdvantage members bonus miles when they fly between Dallas and Lima, Peru. To qualify, you must first register using promo code AALIM. This bonus is valid for flights between April 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013. Business class and economy class fares booked in Y, B or H will earn 20,000 bonus miles and all other economy class fares will earn 10,000 bonus miles, which are based on round-trip travel. However, each eligible one-way trip flown will receive half the bonus miles. The bonus miles will be awarded based on the booking class purchased, and will be posted immediately for each eligible segment flown. Hat Tip: One Mile at a Time
80% Bonus on Purchased Virgin America Elevate Points: Now through March 20, 2013, Virgin America is offering an 80% bonus on purchased points. To take part in this offer, head on over to the Virgin America Buy Miles page. However to see this offer, you must be logged into your Elevate account. As a reminder, Elevate points are sold in increments of 500 up to 20,000 points per calendar year. With the 80% bonus, the price comes to about 2.9 cents per point. The Elevate program is a fixed-value rewards program where you can use points to purchase any flight at a value of between 1.6-2.3 cents per point depending on the fare and itinerary. I'm not jumping all over this, but there could be value for those who are looking to use Elevate points on premium partner awards. Hat Tip: View from the Wing

Double TrueBlue points with Hilton: JetBlue TrueBlue members can earn double TrueBlue points when staying at participating Hilton properties for stays now through March 31, 2013. In order to receive your points, your contact information must exactly exactly for both your Hilton and TrueBlue account. Here's how to qualify for this promotion. First, sign in to your Hilton HHonors account and visit 'My profile,' then select 'Earning Points and Miles.' Next, select JetBlue as your Double Dip earnings partner and enter your TrueBlue account number. Finally, choose 'Points and Variable Miles' as your Double Dip Earnings Style option and then you'll be on your way to earning bonus TrueBlue points. Allow six to eight weeks for the bonus points to post.
Save Up to 25% on Purchased Starpoints: Now through April 30, 2013, Starwood Preferred Guests can save up to 25% when purchasing Starpoints. Here's how it works: Buy 500–6,500 Starpoints: Save 15%; Buy 7,000–12,500 Starpoints: Save 20%; or buy 13,000–20,000 Starpoints: Save 25%. Starpoints are sold in increments of 500 to 20,000 points. The same bonus also applies if you are choosing to gift Starpoints. Starpoints are sold at $0.035 per point before the discount. The bonus is hard-coded, so there is no need to register; however purchases must be made by members whose accounts have been open for at least 14 days.
Bonus Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles with Avis: Now through December 31, 2013, Alaska Airlines and Avis have teamed up to offer customers up to triple bonus Mileage Plan miles on Avis rentals. Rentals of 2-3 days will earn double miles, while 4+ day rentals will earn triple miles. This offer is available on qualifying rentals at participating airport locations in the U.S. and Canada. To get the extra miles, either use coupon MUAA117 for 2-3 day rentals, or MUAA118 on 4+ day rentals. Plus, Avis also offers a 35% discount to Alaska Airlines customers when they book using AWD #K197825. Bonus miles are in addition to the base miles you receive each time you rent with Avis.
Quadruple Amtrak points when renting from Hertz: Hertz and Amtrak have teamed up to offer customers the opportunity to earn quadruple Amtrak points as well as up to 25% off their next car rental. Don't forget to include your Amtrak Guest Rewards number in the reservation process and you must provide discount CDP 1229959 and PC 169864.
