Watch a Korean Air Boeing 777 Bounce Down the Runway Upon Landing
We've written about several hairy landings that have been caught on film, and in this installment of crazy aviation videos we have another one to share — prepare for anxiety upon arrival.
The video begins with a Korean Air Boeing 777 approaching a runway at an unknown airport, and everything seems normal, which should make for an uneventful landing, right? Wrong. As the 777 nears the tarmac, it begins wobbling — a lot. The jet touches the runway, but bounces back up into the air. It proceeds to bounce on either side at least five more times before finally planting both sets of rear tires on the ground. From afar, it looks like the plane almost danced down the runway, but for those inside it likely was a harrowing experience that they won't be forgetting anytime soon.
