The JetBlue cards from Barclaycard are now available. Earn 30,000 points after $1,000 spent in the first 90 days with the JetBlue Plus Card ($99 annual fee) or 10,000 points after $1,000 spent on purchases in the fist 90 days with the JetBlue Card ($0 annual fee). Get more information here.

Looking for a reason to work towards JetBlue Mosaic this year? In addition to the free drinks the airline recently announced for its elite members, flyers sporting Mosaic status are now able to redeem TrueBlue Points for Even More Space seats at an extraordinary rate. The exact cost will vary based on the cash price, but this is a great opportunity to squeeze some more value out of your points.

Here at TPG, we value TrueBlue points at about 1.1-1.4 cents per dollar, meaning that these redemptions are a steal at up to 9 cents per point in value for the top tier. If you're a Mosaic member looking for an upgrade, this could be a great deal. It's difficult to get tremendous value when redeeming JetBlue points for award flights, so an upgrade is worth considering — especially at the rates below.

Of course, other US-based airlines offer extra-legroom upgrades to elites for free, so while these rates may seem phenomenal on the surface (and they are), this is a guaranteed perk with American, Delta and United.

Typically, you'll earn at least 3 points per dollar spent on airfare, but you can also earn points on flights operated by partners like Emirates. And if you're looking for some additional points to bolster your account without flying, you can always transfer from a Membership Rewards card like Amex Platinum.
