For the past few years, Hyatt's offered co-branded cardholders the opportunity to score a 10% rebate on all award redemptions. Now, we just got word that the promo's back for 2018!

As with past years, this particular offer is only available to World of Hyatt members who also have an active World of Hyatt Credit Card, or who still hold the previous version of the Hyatt Credit Card that was closed to new applicants last month.

To confirm that you're eligible, head to this page, enter your account number and click "Register" by August 31, 2018. You can also register by clicking the button in the email Hyatt sent to eligible cardholders.

The 10% rebate will be issued within 6-8 weeks of redemption, as long as you redeem for stays with a check-in and check-out date between August 1 and September 30, 2018. There doesn't appear to be a cap on rebates earned through this promotion.

Most redemptions are eligible, including room bookings, Points + Cash stays, upgrades, dining and spa services. Points transferred to Avis or airline partners are not eligible for the rebate.

Note that we value Hyatt points at 1.8 cents apiece, so be sure to do the math on your redemption before you pull the trigger — while room awards and upgrades can often be worthwhile, dining and spa redemptions may be valued far below that 1.8-cent threshold, even after factoring in the 10% rebate.
