Starting on June 1, if you have the Hyatt Credit Card from Chase, you'll be eligible for a limited-time promotion. From that date through September 5, cardholders will receive 10% of their redeemed Hyatt points back on eligible redemptions.

"Eligible redemptions" include award nights, Points + Cash stays, room upgrades and dining and spa services. Redemptions that don't qualify include Avis car rentals and transfers to airline partners. To be eligible for this points rebate, you need to register here by June 30. Note that this promotion applies to both new and existing cardholders, and you don't need to rebook existing reservations to be eligible for the rebate — as long as your stay occurs between June 1 and September 5 and meets all the other requirements, you'll be good to go.

Any rebated points you get as part of this 10% back offer will be deposited into your World of Hyatt account within 6-8 weeks of your relevant point redemption. There doesn't appear to be any limit to how many points you can get back, so if you have several stays booked or are planning on redeeming at a high-tier Hyatt property, you can rack up some valuable rewards toward a future booking.

Bottom Line

If you have the Hyatt Card, there's no reason not to register for this promotion — after all, a deal alert could pop up and lead you to book an award stay this summer. If you don't yet have the card, it could be worth signing up thanks to the incredibly lucrative bonus of two free nights at any Hyatt property worldwide, which you'll get after spending $2,000 in the first three months. The card also offers a free night at a Category 1-4 hotel each year after your cardmember anniversary. It has a $75 annual fee, and no foreign transaction fees.
