Capital One Venture X elevated bonus: Earn 90,000 miles through a referral link

There are a lot of reasons to add the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card to your wallet: airport lounge access for you and two guests, a $300 annual credit for bookings through Capital One Travel, 10,000 anniversary miles and the ability to earn at least 2 Capital One miles per dollar on all your purchases — all for a reasonable annual fee (see rates and fees).
And if you have a friend, family member or co-worker who has been trying to convince you to get the Venture X, now might be the perfect time to heed their advice.
That's because you may be able to get an elevated welcome bonus by applying through someone else's referral link, as first reported by Danny the Deal Guru. Here's how to access the offer.
Current Venture X referral offer
Some Venture X cardholders have been targeted for a referral offer that allows new applicants for the card to earn 90,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in the first three months from account opening.
For comparison purposes, the current public offer for the card is 75,000 bonus miles after you spend $4,000 in the first three months of account opening, so this gets you an extra 15,000 miles for the same amount of spending.
TPG values Capital One miles at 1.85 cents each, thanks to a wide range of valuable transfer partners, making this elevated bonus worth an impressive $1,665.

The Venture X had its highest welcome offer of 100,000 miles (since expired) after its initial launch in November 2021, but this is the first time we've seen an offer higher than 75,000 bonus miles since March 2022. If you know someone who has the Venture X and can access this targeted referral offer, this is one to jump on.
How to refer someone from your Venture X
If you already have the Venture X, go to the "Refer a Friend" link and log in to your account. If you have the 90,000-point offer, send your personalized link to your friends, family members and co-workers who are interested. When they apply and are approved using your link, they'll get the elevated welcome bonus, and you'll earn 10,000-25,000 bonus miles for each approved referral — up to a total of 100,000 bonus miles per calendar year. (The amount of bonus miles varies by cardholder.)

Bottom line
If you know someone who already has the Venture X and has been targeted for a referral with this 90,000-mile bonus offer, now is an ideal time to apply through their referral link. And if you're already a cardholder who has been targeted for the elevated referral link, it's time to share the love with your network and rack up Capital One miles for yourself.
