New perk: Capital One Venture X cardholders get access to Prior luxury travel experiences

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card has another new perk: an opportunity to purchase or redeem miles for cardholder-exclusive trips.
Capital One has teamed up with travel company Prior to offer curated luxury vacations for Venture X cardholders, along with a complimentary subscription to Prior's global travel guides and twice-weekly newsletters.
Here's what you need to know about the partnership between Capital One and Prior.
Capital One's Prior partnership
Capital One Venture X cardholders can enroll in the complimentary subscription here. It's valued at $149.
To book or redeem miles for one of the luxury vacations, cardholders can visit the bank's events and ticketing platform Capital One Entertainment and log into their account.
Upcoming trips
Three destinations have been announced as being available for cardholder-exclusive, all-inclusive trips in 2023: Savannah, Georgia; Sun Valley, Idaho; and Napa and Sonoma Valleys in California.
The Savannah trip takes place March 23-26, and the itinerary includes a stay at the Perry Lane Hotel, a roving cocktail party through some of Savannah's most famous squares and historical mansions, a private dinner hosted by a James Beard Award-winning chef, a ghost tour, a Lowcountry boil, an underground walking experience of Savannah's African American History, a visit to the Bonaventure Cemetery, picnic at Forsyth Park and antique store shopping.
The Sun Valley itinerary is June 29-July 2, and includes a stay at the historic Sun Valley Lodge, dining under the stars of the Idaho Dark Sky Reserve, a morning wildflower walk to a private brunch, fly-fishing, a trout cookout and a gondola ride up Mount Baldy to the Roundhouse River Lodge for cocktails and views.
The Napa and Sonoma experience takes place Oct. 19-22. The itinerary includes a stay at The Madrona hotel, insider access to wineries and vintners accompanied by a master sommelier, private wine tastings, a tour of Single Thread Farms, a private dinner, a morning spa experience, and oyster shucking and cheese tasting on the coast.

Venture X cardholders get a complimentary subscription to Prior's global travel guides and newsletters, as well as access to curated luxury vacations.
Pricing begins at $1,695 for double occupancy. Cardholders can redeem miles on Capital One Entertainment for these trips, though the cost is quite high, beginning at 423,750 miles for two spots on the Savannah trip.
Airfare is not included in the trip price, but cardholders can book flights through Capital One Travel and earn 5 miles per dollar.
