One of the fastest-growing airlines in the U.S. is planning a slew of new routes for the summer 2024 season.

Breeze Airways, a low-cost carrier launched in 2021, announced 11 new routes Tuesday. The new flight offerings include three airports Breeze will add to its route map.

First-time airports for the Utah-based carrier include Denver International Airport (DEN), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in South Carolina and Mobile International Airport (BFM) in Alabama.

Many of the new Breeze routes are seasonal and get underway just in time for the summer months. The routes will take travelers to popular leisure destinations, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to Orlando, Florida's Gulf Coast and Southern California.

The expansion comes as Breeze continues to dramatically scale up its flight schedule. During the first half of 2024, the airline's number of fights is set to grow around 47% over the same period in 2023, according to scheduling data from aviation analytics firm Cirium analyzed by TPG.

Routes aboard new A220 fleet

Breeze plans to operate all the new routes on brand-new Airbus A220-300 aircraft — the cornerstone of its fast-growing fleet.

Breeze's A220s include 12 seats in its "Ascent" cabin, its most spacious premium cabin up front. The carrier offers 45 extra legroom seats, with seat pitch roughly resembling the main cabin extra-type accommodations on the legacy U.S. carriers.
