Last chance: 12 Apple products still on sale for Amazon Prime Day
Editor's Note
Amazon's fall Prime Day is in full swing and as we enter the final day of deals, you can still score great discounts on your most wanted Apple products.
Whether you need a serious tech upgrade or you’re just scouting for gifts or nice-to-haves, you'll find that MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods are all on sale right now.
Here are some of the top Apple deals that we’ve unearthed so far.
MacBook Air — $749.99 (originally $999)

You can save $200 on the revolutionary MacBook Air (2020 version), one of the best picks for Apple laptop users. With a resolution of 2560 pixels by 1600 pixels, the MacBook Air's 13.3-inch Retina display is super sharp, and the battery life runs for 12 hours when playing videos with the Apple TV app. It features the M1 chip — a major leap in productivity — as well as an enhanced keyboard and Apple’s signature sleek design.

MacBook Pro — $1,049 (originally $1,299)

Apple’s latest MacBook Pro is perfect for professionals on the go. It offers a much longer battery life and more ports — including an HDMI port, a headphone jack and a USB-C port (addressing a previous gripe from Apple users). Its lightning-fast M1 chip drastically improves performance. There are also an enhanced webcam, three mics and an active cooling system to sustain all your computer needs.

AirPods (2nd Generation) — $89.99 (originally $129)

If you’ve ever wondered about those long-stemmed AirPods and what all the fuss is about, this discount might tempt you to find out. With a few extra features over the previous model, the second-generation AirPods are a perfect backup headset when traveling (though they do not have any noise-canceling capability).
Convenient sensors allow you to pause and resume music by taking the earbud in and out, while the “Hey Siri” feature activates hands-free voice control. Apple advertises a battery life of about five hours, and the pods come with a nifty, magnetically closing charging case.
To buy: Apple AirPods (2nd Generation), $89.99 (originally $129)
AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) — $189 (originally $249)

The Pro version of the AirPods promises up to two times more active noise-canceling capabilities than previous versions, with adaptive transparency, personalized spatial audio and a MagSafe charging case.
Plus, you can now swipe the stem to adjust the volume, press it to play and pause music or press it to answer and end a call.
Today's sale gives you the opportunity to save $60 on the latest AirPods Pro.
To buy: Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) Wireless Earbuds, $189 (originally $249)
Apple iPad Air (5th Generation) — $499.99 (originally $599)

The latest iPad Air features a 10.9-inch, anti-reflective Retina screen, as well as 64 gigabytes of storage and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The new M1 chip improves battery life and overall performance, reaching speeds that are up to 60% faster. It also features Touch ID for security.
Upgrading to the “Wi-Fi + Cellular” (5G) model will cost you a lot more — $649.99 (originally $749). It’s available in blue, purple, pink, starlight and space gray (all colors are on sale).
To buy: Apple iPad Air (5th Generation), $499.99 (originally $599)
Apple 10.2-inch iPad — $249 (originally $329)

Apple’s previous-generation iPad is also heavily discounted. The key differences are that it has a slightly smaller 10.2-inch Retina display and an inferior back camera (8 megapixels); however, it has the same ultrawide 12-megapixel front camera. It features the A13 Bionic chip (versus the more powerful M1) and Touch ID.
"Wi-Fi + Cellular" versions are available but are not included in Amazon’s Prime Day event. The sale includes both white and gray color options.
To buy: Apple iPad (9th Generation), $249 (originally $329)
Apple Watch Series 8 — $319 (originally $399)

The Apple Watch Series 8 gives the standard-bearer smartwatch some handy new features. In addition to its typical fitness tracking tools, it monitors heart rhythm and blood oxygen. There are also features like a temperature sensor and a car crash detector that automatically calls 911. Plus, it has a slightly improved battery life over the Apple Watch 7 (around 18 hours or 36 hours in low-power mode).
To buy: Apple Watch Series 8, $319 (originally $399)
Apple Watch SE (1st Generation) — $129 (originally $279)

If you just want the most affordable Apple Watch possible to make your trips — and life — easier and more convenient, get the first-generation Apple Watch SE. It’s available for just $129 from Walmart right now, with three different color options in the 40-millimeter size. The 44-millimeter size will cost an additional $30.
To buy: Apple Watch SE 1st Gen, $129 (originally $279)
Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation) —$249 (originally $299)

If you prefer the most updated Apple Watch SE, this second-generation version is also on sale at a higher price tag ($249). At the time of publication, limited sizes and colors were available in the 40- and 44-millimeter sizes, meaning this version is already selling out.
Be sure to purchase ASAP if this is on your wish list. If it's already sold out, try the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen), which is on sale for $229.
To buy: Apple Watch SE (second generation), $249 (originally $299)
Apple AirTag 4-pack — $88.99 (originally $99)

If you’re still not tracking your checked bags (and everything else) with an Apple AirTag, odds are high that you’ll one day regret that choice. Avoid that “woulda, coulda, shoulda” moment and stock up now. Just note that it's only slightly discounted.
To buy: Apple AirTags 4 Pack, $88.99 (originally $99)
Apple USB-C Port Power Adapter — $43.99 (originally $59)

The aforementioned Apple products are useless without power, so having a device like this 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter will go a long way in helping you keep your devices charged. It can charge two devices simultaneously, whether you are working from home or traveling on the go. This device is compatible with MacBook Airs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and AirPods.
To buy: Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter, $43.99 (originally $59)
Apple MagSafe Battery Pack portable charger — $83.99 (originally $99)

If you find yourself needing a portable charger when traveling, consider this slightly discounted Apple Magsafe Battery Pack portable charger.
This charger comes with me every time I travel, and I can attest to how easy it makes charging your phone on the go. You just magnetically attach it to your iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 or iPhone 12. It automatically charges upon contact, so there's no need to remember to turn it on or off. Just make sure you remember to charge your charger before use.
To buy: Apple MagSafe Battery Pack - Portable Charger , $83.99 (originally $99)
Bottom line
These Apple products are currently on sale for Prime Day but may not last through today. Be sure to shop for them now before they sell out.
