Royal Jordanian Cleared From the Electronics Ban
Update 7/9/2017: Kuwait Airways has also announced that its been cleared from the electronics ban, effective immediately:
Royal Jordanian was the first airline to break the news of the large carry-on electronics ban back in March. Now, in both a symbolic and actual blow to the future of the electronics ban, Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) has been cleared from the list of banned airports effective today, July 9. This means travelers flying nonstop on Royal Jordanian to the United States can now carry on large electronics like cameras, tablets and laptops.
The removal of Jordan's Queen Alia International Airport in Amman leaves just five airports on the US ban list — with three more expected to be cleared off in 10 days. Here's the full state of the electronics ban and the remaining airports/airlines:

After several airlines provided social media gems throughout the ban, Royal Jordanian's social media team took to Twitter today with the fitting message "keep calm and carry on" to announce its removal from the ban:
However, it's worth noting that the announcement only mentions flights to the USA; Royal Jordanian seems to still be on the banned list for flights to the United Kingdom. That said, TPG is happy to see that another airline/airport has been cleared from the US list and we hope — for both security and passenger experience purposes — to see the end of the electronics ban very soon.
