The Points Guy believes that credit cards can transform lives, helping you leverage everyday spending for cash back or travel experiences that might otherwise be out of reach. That's why we publish a variety of editorial content and card comparisons: to help you find a great card to turn your goals into reality.

In this video, an A330-300 operated by WOW Air was flying from Iceland to Paris when it encountered a storm. The wide-body aircraft is cruising through the gray sky, when, out of nowhere, a massive bolt of lightning strikes the plane.
Fortunately, nobody was injured during the strike and the A330 continued to its journey to Paris without further incident.
Have you ever been on an airplane struck by lightning?
