The best Choice hotels in Europe to book using points
I rarely redeem Choice Privileges points for stays within the U.S., as I've found I can get better value when redeeming for stays overseas. While I usually redeem Choice points for stays in major Japanese cities like Tokyo and Osaka, I've also gotten good value within Europe.
When searching for the best hotels to book using Choice points, you'll want to keep in mind that some European Choice properties don't let you earn points on stays, so always be sure to look for a message noting "You will not earn Choice Privileges Points at this hotel" on the property's page.
Below, we've rounded up some of our favorite hotels in Europe to book using Choice points.

Clarion Hotel Post (Sweden)
Clarion Hotel Post is in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden, just a short walk from the central train station. The hotel is in a historic post office building that has been fully renovated to include a spa, a rooftop pool and supremely comfortable guest rooms.

Rooms with a double bed or two twin beds are bookable for 15,000 Choice points per night on most dates, but paid rates start around $142 per night. Stays include a full breakfast each morning for all guests.

Clarion Hotel Prague City
Clarion Hotel Prague City sits in the historic part of the Czech Republic capital, just a short walk from Wenceslas Square and near public transit.

Comfort Hotel Vesterbro (Denmark)

Hotel Aquarius Venice, an Ascend Collection Hotel (Italy)
Hotel Aquarius Venice, an Ascend Collection Hotel is in the Santa Croce district within walking distance of Venezia Santa Lucia train station. All guests get access to the complimentary continental breakfast buffet each morning.

Paid rates start around $257 per night. Award space can be spotty, but when available, a junior suite costs 20,000 points per night and a suite costs 24,000 points per night.

H10 Metropolitan (Spain)
H10 Metropolitan is an industrial-inspired hotel in Barcelona's Eixample district. Guests are offered a complimentary glass of cava at check-in, as well as access to a quirky library and a top-floor plunge pool.

H10 Metropolitan isn't a Choice Privileges property, but thanks to the partnership between Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Choice Privileges, you can book stays for 35,000 points per night nonetheless. Paid rates start around $215 per night.
