Start planning your Pacific Northwest getaway: 1 Hotel Seattle is open for booking
The swanky 1 Hotel Seattle is set to open in just a few months, and the luxury property is now open for reservations.
The South Lake Union-area hotel is set to open April 22 and is now available for reservations online, the hotel told The Points Guy. Room rates start at $400 per night for the opening weekend, plus a $20-per-night amenity fee.
"Seattle has always been a city that values sustainability, innovation, and connection to nature," Barry Sternlicht, the founder of 1 Hotels and chairman of SH Hotels & Resorts — soon to be Starwood Hotels — said in a statement shared with TPG. "With 1 Hotel Seattle, we've created a property that not only reflects the city's natural surroundings but also champions our mission to redefine what luxury hospitality can be through sustainable practices."
The building, a former Pan Pacific Hotel, will feature 153 rooms, including 45 suites, complete with expansive picture windows, large soaking tubs, yoga mats, moss-inspired art and natural reclaimed wood accents as an ode to the Pacific Northwest. Each room is pet-friendly and comes with dog beds and bowls.
Guests are welcomed by the green living wall in the lobby and large fireplace framed by tiles made by a local ceramics studio, and will enjoy the adjacent landscaped outdoor terrace. When you need to get away, make use of the hotel's fully electric Audi Q8 E-Tron car (available on a first-come, first-served basis from the hotel entrance), or take a walk to iconic landmarks like Pike Place Market and the Space Needle.
Fitness enthusiasts will love the Peloton bikes and resistance treadmills in the property's fitness center, dubbed The Field House, while foodies won't be able to resist the ground-floor restaurant, La Loba, featuring a fusion of flavors inspired by Barcelona, the Mediterranean and Japan.
Beyond Seattle, the 1 Hotels brand features properties in popular destinations around the world from New York City to London, San Francisco, Hawaii and beyond.
