Deal alert: Book round-trip flights to Venice from $479
We've seen recent deals on flights to Rome. Now, we're spotlighting some solid discounts on fares to another popular Italian destination: Venice.
Several airlines are offering sub-$500 round-trip fares to the picturesque city in the fall and early 2025 — these prices are lower than they have been in quite some time for Venice. Departure cities include Atlanta, Miami and Washington.
Just about all the discounted fares involve flights with layovers and are also for basic economy tickets. A carry-on is included with these fares. Checked baggage will cost you between $75 and $110 each way.

Sample flights
Budget airline Air Europa has round-trip fares out of Miami International Airport (MIA) to Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) in November for only $502, with a layover in Madrid.

The prices are even better for the Miami-to-Venice itinerary in February, when you can book an Air Europa ticket for just $479 round-trip.

According to Google Flights data, this is a massive discount from normal prices for this route.

Flights from Atlanta to Venice are also available at a significant markdown in November. Scandinavian Airlines has round-trip fares from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Venice for $548, which is notably lower than normal for this route. Please note that there is a long layover in Copenhagen on the return flight, so you may have a chance to plan a fun daytrip in the Danish capital.

If you live in Dallas, December is a good time to visit Venice. British Airways has flights out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for only $564 round-trip. That's a good price for this route during the holiday season. Note that the return flight has an extended layover in London.

We found some good prices for Venice out of Chicago, too. British Airways has flights in December and January from O'Hare International Airport (ORD) for $669 round-trip.

We also found great bargains out of Washington, D.C., in this deal. British Airways has round-trip flights from $508 from Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Venice in early December.
