US Airways - Oneworld Promo: Up to 25,000 Bonus Miles
March 31 is a big day for US Airways as it will finally be leaving Star Alliance and joining Oneworld (though retaining some of its Star Alliance partners). To kick off its new alliance membership, the airline is launching a promo where flyers can earn up to 25,000 bonus miles for flying its new Oneworld partners now through June.
It's a tiered bonus - so the more carriers you fly, the more bonus points you earn. First off, register your Dividend miles number here starting March 31, 2014. You'll then earn the following mileage based on the number of carriers you fly:
To earn the bonuses, you must register and fly by June 30, 2014. You can register at any time during the promo period for your activity to qualify. Each airline partner only counts once, so even if you had, say, four British Airways flights, you'd only get credit once. US Airways flights themselves will not count, but American Airlines flights will. Flights marketed/codeshared by a Oneworld partner but operated by one of their partners that's not a Oneworld member will not earn a bonus either.
While not life-changing, this is a nice little promo that could help you rack up some bonus miles - especially if you're traveling to other parts of the world where you can take advantage of other Oneworld carriers like JAL and Cathay in Asia; British Airways, Iberia and Finnair in Europe; and LAN in South America, among others.
