Editor's Note

This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

One of the easiest deals to maximize this season is the annual offer that provides 10% off Target gift cards. You can stock up and save throughout the year with this deal.

And we now know that the deal is returning Dec. 6-7, exclusively for Target Circle members, with a maximum of $500 in gift cards per Target Circle member.

With this deal, you can buy multiple gift cards (either physical or online) at a discount, but you typically have to do it all in one transaction in order to get the 10% discount.

On top of the upcoming 10% Target gift card discount, here are a few other top Target deals that caught our eye:

  • $10 Target gift card with the purchase of $50 or more on Panera Bread gift cards (Dec. 2 only)
  • 50% off select Christmas trees
  • Target Circle members may also find some targeted Target Circle Bonuses in their accounts on popular Apple products, such as AirPods and iPads

Maximize your purchases

If you shop these deals, first start your online purchase at a cash-back site, such as TopCashback — which, as of Dec. 2, was offering 2% cash back on eligible Target purchases — and then use a credit card that rewards Target purchases, such as:

  • Target Circle Card: This no-annual-fee card offers a 5% discount on Target and target.com purchases, plus free two-day shipping on select online orders — though it is likely the 5% discount will not apply to these gift cards.
  • Chase Freedom Flex® (see rates and fees): Earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases in quarterly rotating categories (that you must activate).
  • Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express: Earn 3% cash back on online purchases from U.S. retailers (on the first $6,000 spent during a calendar year, then 1% until the following year). Cash back is received in the form of Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit and at amazon.com checkout.
  • Citi Double Cash® Card: Earn 2% cash back on all purchases (1% cash back when you buy, plus an additional 1% as you pay for those purchases; see rates and fees).

You can check out using PayPal at Target, making it a perfect opportunity to utilize the current 5% cash-back special PayPal bonus.

The information for the Target Circle Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Bottom line

This deal is only for Target Circle members, but you can still join the program for free before Dec. 6, which gets you access to members-only perks, including this deal.
