You can save big money on flights to Spain right now. Whether you want to bask in the architectural beauty of the European Union's second-largest nation, or simply spend the days enjoying tapas and wine, there is no shortage of reasons to justify booking a trip to Spain. But here's an easy one: This deal has some round-trip fares for less than $400, primarily with TAP Air Portugal and Iberia.

Some of these sale fares are somewhat typical discounts that pop up here and there. But a few are downright bargains that don't come up very often, so be sure to dig around to see if you find an itinerary that works for you. There are price cuts on flights to Barcelona, as well as Seville and Valencia.

This deal is for economy fares, and these itineraries include layovers. You also can expect to pay extra to check a bag. It will likely cost you between $30 and $35 each way. The best availability we saw in this deal was for travel in the fall and the early part of 2023.

Big thanks to Scott's Cheap Flights for alerting us to this deal. Its Premium membership is available for $49 per year, while the Elite option is available for $199 per year. The latter offers access to deals on premium economy, business- and first-class tickets.

As always, if you're flexible with your travel plans, you'll typically find better prices.

Check out this fare departing from South Florida. TAP has round-trip tickets from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Seville Airport (SVQ) in late January for just $425. It includes a layover in Lisbon, Portugal, and as mentioned above, checking luggage will cost you extra. But that's a nice price for this route.

We'll wrap things up with one of the best deals we found. We found this nonstop flight on Iberia from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Barcelona in early 2023 for just $485. That is a true bargain, and we suggest not waiting too long to book this one.
