Italy deal alert: Fly nonstop to Rome from Chicago, Miami and NYC from $428
Nonstop flights to Rome from the U.S. are available at big discounts right now. This latest deal involves nonstops from departure cities such as Chicago, Miami and New York City. At certain points in the calendar, some routes cost just $428 round-trip.
This deal is for travel between October and March of next year, which means you get to enjoy Rome when the crowds are lighter. It'll be easier to book dinner reservations and access the Ancient City's endless monuments and attractions.
The sale involves basic economy tickets. A carry-on is included with these fares, and we recommend packing light. Checking a bag will cost you between $75 and $150 each way.

If you live in Miami, November is an excellent time to take advantage of this sale. You can fly ITA Airways nonstop from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO) for only $428.
If you like the idea of spending the holiday season in Rome, this route is available at the same low price in early December.
This is a fantastic deal for this itinerary, based on Google Flights' price history.
United has nonstop flights from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to Rome in early November for $480 — a superb deal for this route.
You can also fly United nonstop from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Italy's capital city in December for $456.
The same fare price was common in February as well.
If flying out of New York City is more convenient, you should check out the fares in March. ITA has nonstop flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Rome for only $428 round-trip.
