Lufthansa Voucher $60 Off
Lufthansa is giving away $60 vouchers via mobile phone and email download that flyers can use towards fares from the US.
Simply enter your name, email address or mobile phone number and click the box that says you've read the terms and conditions and the voucher will be emailed to you for when you book a flight online at Lufthansa.com.
The voucher must be redeemed by October 16, and travel must occur by January 31, 2013. December 20-23 and January 2-4 are blackout dates. The voucher is only good for flights operated by Lufthansa and Lufthansa regional partners such as Lufthansa City Line and Eurowings. It is also only valid for flights departing the United States.
Only one voucher may be used per booking process, and the value of the voucher can only be used toward the ticket fare, not taxes, fees or other supplements – so no using it on award tickets. If a ticket for which a voucher was redeemed is canceled, only the reduced value of the ticket will be reimbursed. You can find the rest of the terms and conditions here.
Once you've entered your information and clicked "Send," Lufthansa will generate a voucher number. If you're ready to book, click "Redeem your voucher code now," or wait till you get an email or text with it and click the link included since that will automatically register your voucher code as you book your itinerary.
You won't see the promo code pop up until you've selected your itinerary and are on the payment page. To make sure it works, click the "Recalculate Fare" button and the $60 discount should be reflected.
For instance, on a sample economy fare ticket between Los Angeles and Frankfurt in November, the original price was $1,110.
After the voucher was applied, the price dropped down to $1,050.
$60 isn't a huge amount off a ticket from the US to Europe, but hey, every little bit counts.
