JetBlue is celebrating its 25th birthday this week by offering five days of travel deals featuring cheap airfares, bonus points on bookings and money off holiday bookings.

For its final deal this week, the airline offers Mosaic members the chance to earn double TrueBlue "tiles" on hotel reservations made through Paisly by JetBlue.

This is a great deal if you're currently on your way to earning Mosaic status or are on the precipice of reaching a higher status level and want to move up.

Deal basics

Deal: Hotel bookings

How to book: Directly through Paisly by JetBlue

Travel dates: For travel anytime

Book by: Feb. 17

For reference, TrueBlue tiles are the metric JetBlue uses to determine Mosaic status level for its members. They can be earned through qualifying spending on JetBlue flights and vacations, bookings through Paisly or with JetBlue credit cards.

Usually, with hotel bookings made through Paisly, you will earn one JetBlue tile per $100 spent on the pretax price of your hotel stay. But by taking advantage of this offer, you'll instead earn two tiles per $100 of qualifying spend.

The number of tiles you need to earn for each JetBlue status tier is as follows:

The deal is only valid on new bookings.

First, head to Paisly.com and log in to your TrueBlue account.

From here, you can simply search for your required destination, travel dates and the number of guests you need a room for.

Sample bookings

Paisley has an array of hotels on offer from locations around the world, suitable for differing budgets.

Depending on your room rate, you could easily earn enough tiles to bump your Mosaic status up one level or earn the basic Mosaic status.

Loews Regency New York booked through Paisky.com
PAISLY

For example, you could book a four-night stay at Loews Regency New York for $2,938.95, including taxes. You would be eligible to earn TrueBlue points and tiles on the pretax amount of $2,542. In this instance, you'd stand to earn 50 tiles (plus 2,542 TrueBlue points) — enough to reach Mosaic 1 level through just one hotel stay.

Or, looking further afield, you could book a four-night stay at The Hoxton, Holborn in London for the same dates for a total of $1,544.86. Pretax, this would earn you 1,288 TrueBlue points and 24 tiles — almost halfway to earning Mosaic 1 status.

Maximize your purchase

If you book this deal, use a card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases. Frequent JetBlue flyers should consider using the following cards to get the most bang for their buck:

For this deal and other flight purchases, try The Platinum Card® from American Express to earn 5 points per dollar spent on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel (on up to $500,000 of these purchases per calendar year, then 1 point per dollar), the Chase Sapphire Reserve® to earn 8 points per dollar on all Chase Travel℠ purchases and 4 points per dollar on flights booked directly through the airline or the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card to earn 2 points per dollar spent on travel.

The information for the JetBlue Plus Card, the JetBlue Premier Card, the JetBlue Business Card and the JetBlue Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
