In conducting a test search for this story, the cheapest deals I could find were for relatively short flights out of Boston, including to New York, Nantucket and Philadelphia.
If you're looking to head somewhere guaranteed to be warmer, you'll find $139 flights to both Phoenix, $149 flights to San Juan, $179 flights to Punta Cana, $194 flights to Port-au-Prince, also departing from Boston.
