If you're looking for fall travel plans, there's no greater place to explore than Iceland. I had the chance to visit earlier this summer, drove around the whole country with a camper van and ended my trip with a stay at the stunning Hotel Ranga.

And currently, you can find flights to Reykjavik for less than $400 round-trip with wide-open availability from cities across the U.S. on United Airlines.

This deal was originally sent out by Thrifty Traveler Premium, available for just $7.99 monthly or $49.99 annually. This membership fee can easily pay for itself since you'll get notified of cheap flights, award flight sales and business-class deals straight to your email.

Routes: AUS/BOS/CLT/EWR/FLL/HNL/LAX/MEM/SAN/SLC/TPA and beyond to Reykjavik (KEF).

As a bonus, I found round-trip flights from New York (JFK) to Reykjavik for under $350 on Delta Air Lines. Note that this flight is in basic economy, though Delta is offering free changes and cancellations to these fares through the end of 2021.
