Act fast: Fly Delta to Dublin, Madrid and Marrakech from 26K SkyMiles each way
Are you ready to plan your first vacation of 2026? Delta Air Lines just launched a three‑day award flash sale to some terrific transatlantic destinations, including Dublin; Barcelona; Madrid; and Marrakech, Morocco. Most of the best prices are out of New York-area airports, but there are some nice discounts available from other departure cities.
The discount award fares apply to Delta One, Main, Premium Select and Comfort seats (although discounts for Premium and Comfort apply only to February flights). Most of the lowest award fares in this sale — which were for Main tickets — involved a brief layover. The travel window is through April 30 of this year, so if you fancy spending spring across the Atlantic, this is a good time to put those SkyMiles to good use.
Don't forget that if you have an eligible Delta cobranded American Express card, you can save an additional 15% on these award flights. Remember, to take advantage of these award fares, you must book by midnight Thursday, Feb. 5.

I always like to point out in these deals that using Delta's Price Calendar will save you considerable time when searching for the lowest fare. Once you log in to your Delta SkyMiles account on the Delta website, search for your desired flight, then click the "Price Calendar" tab. Here's what we found for the lowest available awards from New York to Barcelona in late February/early March:

There is good availability to fly out of LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) — with a brief layover at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) — starting at 26,000 SkyMiles each way, plus $55 in taxes and fees. Booking the trip with a Delta cobranded American Express card saves an extra 4,000 miles.

I know I said most of the lowest fares we found were for flights with layovers, but we did find a great nonstop deal to Dublin in late February out of New York. You can book this itinerary out of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Dublin Airport (DUB) for only 26,000 SkyMiles each way, plus about $50 in fees. I didn't see many nonstop routes in this deal, so jump on this one before it's gone.

I always like to see if the latest sales involve flights out of Miami, since it's my home base. The deals to Spain aren't quite as good as the ones out of New York, but I did find flights out of Miami International Airport (MIA) to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) in February for 32,000 SkyMiles round-trip, plus $60 in taxes and fees. Using a Delta cobranded credit card saves you an additional 4,800 miles. This itinerary includes a layover at JFK each way.

And if you're looking for a transatlantic flight outside of the European continent, here's a good example of a round-trip itinerary from New York's JFK Airport to Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) in Morocco for just 35,600 Delta SkyMiles.

As I said, a lot of the best offers fly out of New York, with a smattering of other East Coast options. But Delta's deals aren't strictly confined to the Eastern Seaboard. If you live in Chicago, April flights to Amsterdam are a great option to explore in this sale. We found flights out of O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) for 34,000 miles each way, plus $127 in taxes.

Bottom line
This is a good sale to use to book a fun spring vacation overseas. The variety of routes is nice, too. And while we focused on the transatlantic options, Delta's also offering up to 20% off award travel for some domestic routes, too.
