Deal Alert: Business Class to Brazil for $1550 R/T

You can fly roundtrip from several cities in the United States to Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo, Brazil in American or Delta Business class for about $1550. While, not as cheap as the Business Class Washington Dulles- Beijing $462 R/T , these are certainly still cheap prices and it seems like both airlines are hoping to gain control of these markets.
Basically, Delta is offering cheap fares from American hubs and American is offering cheap fares from Delta hubs, making the real winner you! American departure cities include Delta hubs of Atlanta, Detroit, and Minneapolis, whereas Delta departure cities include American hubs of Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, and Phoenix.
The best way to search for dates is to head over to Google Flights where you can get a calendar view of the available dates.
As an example, you can head from Detroit to Sao Paulo on American for $1,534 round-trip.
If you're wondering about upgrades with American, since this is booked into business class, if you're an American Executive Platinum member, you could use your systemwide upgrades to upgrade to First Class. As a reminder, American Airlines is also offering a bonus on purchased premium fares in 2015, which these fares would qualify for.
The tickets require a 21 advance purchase with a Tuesday-Saturday departure and return of Saturday-Wednesday, with a minimum of a seven days at the destination. These appear to be around for most of the summer and throughout 2015.
