Sample flights
At the time of writing, the following flights were priced as listed. We cannot guarantee that the below round-trip flights will be available when you book, so act fast if any of them catch your eye.
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to PDL for $484, with one stop on the return leg (available February to March)
- John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to PDL for $493, nonstop (available February to April and September to December)
The cheapest economy option we were able to find departs Boston in either early or late March and returns two weeks later for just $484. You would have a nonstop outbound flight and a three-hour layover at Lajes Airport (TER) on Terceira Island (also in the Azores) during the return journey.
This itinerary would give you two full weeks to explore Ponta Delgada and partake in a spot of island hopping before returning home.
For a tiny bit more, you can fly nonstop in both directions from JFK for $493 during various months throughout the year. There's plenty of availability during the months listed above that would work well for one- or two-week breaks.
All economy simple fares include a carry-on bag and a personal item. If you’re looking to include one checked bag weighing up to 23 kilograms (about 50 pounds), you can upgrade to an economy basic fare for $30 when booking.
