If the winter blues are getting to you and you've been dreaming of basking in the sunshine on an island getaway, then this deal to the Bahamas might be a good one to take advantage of. JetBlue is offering flights from major U.S. cities to Nassau for under $300 round-trip.

The fares below are for Blue Basic tickets on JetBlue, which only include a standard seat. You will have to pay extra for a carry-on, checked bag and/or seat selection.

One of the most affordable fares includes a nonstop flight from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Nassau (NAS) for $195 round-trip from the end of February to the beginning of March.

East Coast travelers can snag a direct flight from New York (JFK) to Nassau (NAS) for $239 round-trip at the beginning of March.

There is limited availability for flights from Atlanta (ATL) to Nassau (NAS) at $257 round-trip. Flexible travel plans are key if you are trying to book this deal, which includes a stop in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) each way.

There are flights available from Chicago (ORD) to Nassau (NAS) for travel from the end of January to the beginning of February for the price of $274 round-trip with layovers in Fort Lauderdale (FLL).

We found a $291 round-trip flight from Nashville (BNA) to Nassau (NAS) at the end of January. This route also includes stops in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) each way.

As of Jan. 7, the Bahamas has suspended the mandatory RT-PCR testing requirement for vaccinated travelers. If you are vaccinated and have been dreaming of visiting the Bahamas and perhaps relaxing at Baha Mar resort in Nassau, this is your chance to book a discounted flight.
