Best travel tech and accessories

Belkin Portable Power Bank Charger — $25.44 (normally $29.99)

AMAZON

There's no such thing as too much power when you're on a trip. Everything from a day at Disney World to keeping yourself entertained on the plane can drain your phone's battery in no time.

This Belkin charger boosts the ability to charge multiple devices at once, and it provides 36 hours of additional battery life for your phone via a USB-C port and two USB-A ports.

FuelRods, pack of 2 — $26.24 (normally $40)

AMAZON

Travel can be draining — on your phone's battery. For full days on the go at places like theme parks, you need some backup power. A more powerful charging bank is a good plan, but some people have trouble remembering to keep those charged. Instead, FuelRods are an on-the-go solution you can exchange in places like Disney World (for free).

The price in the parks is $30 per rod, but via the Prime Day sale, you can get a pack of two for just more than $26, making this a must-buy for parkgoers who are always running low on battery power.

Another AirTag case option (in various colors) comes from Belkin. This is also a great choice if you need an affordable way to put those AirTags to use.

OtterBox for iPhone 13 Pro — $39 (normally $59.95) and for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro — $27.98 (normally $69.95)

AMAZON

Gravity happens and, eventually, you're going to drop your super-expensive iPhone … probably more than once. While you should be sure you're paying for that phone bill with a credit card that will cover some of the cost if it breaks, it's better to just not break it in the first place.

If you want a pretty tough case for your phone to help protect it when drops happen, an OtterBox is a great option.

The boots are ideal for low-intensity, warm-weather hikes that don't require a lot of technical edging or scrambling.

The leather upper is water resistant, the rubber outsole provides high traction and mesh panels allow for breathability. Lightweight, with a roomy fit and reliable odor control, the Targhee is an affordable, quality boot that you can wear day after day.

Made from polyester and Columbia's trademark thermal retention fleece lining, it also features zippered pockets to keep items secure — a must for kids on the go. It comes in a variety of bold and muted colors and a range of sizes, from toddlers to teens.

Columbia Travel Cargo Pant — $45 (normally $60)

AMAZON

These classic cargo pants are smart-casual, highly versatile travel pants that have the comfort and maneuverability to take you from the plane to the trail. Six secure pockets (two are zippered) can store a phone, wallet, passports and keys, and they provide easy access to essential hiking gadgets and tools.

The breathable wicking fabric provides plenty of ventilation when the mercury rises, as well as UPF 50 sun protection. Made from nylon, it's available in a slim (standard) design as well as a roomier (big) fit. It comes in waist sizes 28 to 48, and four inseam lengths, and there are eight neutral colors to choose from.

Safety 1st Step Lite Compact Stroller — $64.99 (normally $99.99)

AMAZON

This isn't the fanciest stroller on the block, but it is one of the more affordable ones — especially during Prime Day. Also, if you're looking for an affordable secondary stroller for your trips (where it won't be the end of the world if something happens to it), this 15-pound option may be a great choice.

Green Toys Seaplane — $10.82 (normally $19.99)

AMAZON

You're right, this toy isn't really for travel, but it's a great toy for kids who love planes and want a toy perfect for the bath or pool. This seaplane is made from 100% recycled plastic milk jugs and is free from BPA and phthalates.

For what it's worth, it also comes in some cute packaging, in case you're looking to give it as a gift.
