It's been an incredible week for deals to the South Pacific. Yesterday, we saw amazing fares to Australia on United, and now Qantas is offering an unbelievable deal on flights from the West Coast to New Zealand. You can currently book flights from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Auckland for just $225 round-trip, including taxes and fees. That's INSANE!
Update: It looks like Qantas pulled the fare around 8:00am ET. Congrats to anyone who managed to book!!
This deal is exclusively available through Cheapoair.com, so while it's tempting to head straight over to Google Flights, you won't find anything there. Note that $225 round-trip is in "mistake fare" territory, so you may want to avoid making nonrefundable hotel bookings until we hear from Qantas about whether or not these fares will be honored (it's likely that they will be).
