$50 off $250 Travelocity Hotel Purchase With #Amex Twitter Enrollment
American Express is probably the savviest credit card company when it comes to social media, offering lots of discounts and promotions to cardmembers who sync their cards to Foursquare and Twitter. This week they launched a new deal that caught my eye: a $50 statement credit when you spend $250 or more on a Travelocity Hotel purchase for travel through October 31, 2012. All you need to do is sync your American Express card with your Twitter account and then compose a Tweet containing #AmexTravelocity. Once you tweet, you'll get a confirmation tweet back confirming your enrollment. A similar offer can also be found on Facebook's Link, Like, Love page.
The only downside? Most hotel programs require you to book directly in order to get points and elite status, so I'll probably use this if I have any non-chain hotel stays (which I try to avoid, but do book from time to time).
