1,000 Flying Blue Miles for Account Sign-Up
I'm a big fan of the Flying Blue frequent flyer program. As an Amex 1:1 transfer partner, I find that having the option of the Flying Blue airlines to be extremely useful at times, even though they do have relatively high fees on awards (often $250+).
What I like:
They allow one way awards on Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, Air Europa, Kenya, and Tarom) and they also run 50% off promo awards, which means you can get business class from the US to Europe for as low as 50,000 miles roundtrip.
And now, they are offering 1,000 miles just for signing up. You might as well do it, even if you already have an account. Their award search engine allows you to pull up Flying Blue Skyteam award availability by the month. Once you piece together the Classic Awards, you can use your Delta miles to redeem.
Update: it looks like the 1,000 points post after your first flight. There aren't many details, but I imagine banking a Delta flight to your Flying Blue account will trigger the point bonus. I recommend doing this on a short flight if possible because Flying Blue does not give 100% mileage credit on all fare classes.
Also- I've had promotions like this still post the bonus miles without the qualifying activity being met, so it's still worth a shot- if anything so you have access to their award engine.
