Bilt Rewards: Three new cards, points on mortgage payments coming soon
Editor's Note
Earlier this year, Bilt surveyed its members about what they'd like to see in a new card product. Now, it's taking those insights to heart with the announcement of three new credit cards developed based on member feedback. And there's more: Thanks to $250 million in new funding, the company is speeding up its expansion into other housing categories, creating a long-awaited path to earning points on mortgage.
Here's what you should know.
New Bilt Rewards cards coming in 2026
Bilt Rewards is known for its frequent innovations, but one area the program has lagged in is its card portfolio. That's all about to change, though. Come February 2026, Bilt will launch three new cards in partnership with credit card platform Cardless. Based on feedback from tens of thousands of Bilt members, the new cards will include a no-fee card, a $95-annual-fee card and a $495-annual-fee card.
If you choose to transition to the new Bilt Card 2.0, you'll be able to transfer any balance from your old Wells Fargo account. You may also close down your Wells Fargo account. If you choose to keep your Wells Fargo account open, the old account will become an Autograph Visa card with a different card number.
"We're going to make it super seamless so you can kind of learn all the details, pick what you want and really seamlessly transition into the new card without having to change any of your behavior," Bilt founder Ankur Jain told members of the media on a call.
As for the cards themselves, Jain said the new premium card would not be "going in the direction others have chosen to go in terms of a super high fee with a bunch of coupons."
Unfortunately, Bilt isn't saying much more about the new cards now, but it promised to announce details about the new issuing partner, rewards structures, card benefits and transition progress in early fall.
The information for the Bilt Mastercard has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Bilt is expanding to more housing categories
Bilt is also expanding into more housing categories, including directly partnering with mortgage servicers. Bilt specifically mentioned a new partnership with United Wholesale Mortgage, and Jain said Bilt is taking a strategy "very similar to what we're doing with property managers." The end-to-end platform for mortgage services will let people earn points on mortgage payments through various methods.
More information will become available this fall, but Jain said that Bilt will continue to have a bill-pay solution for rent that it will improve and streamline in the next few months.
Other recent partnerships, including with Douglas Elliman and Century Living, will soon allow more homeowners to earn Bilt Points on homeowners association fees. Bilt is also expanding into student housing through a new partnership with Blackstone's American Campus Communities, meaning some students will soon be able to earn Bilt points on their housing payments.

Bottom line
Bilt just secured more funding, and it's making the most of it by expanding to more housing categories and adding three new Bilt Rewards cards. All these new ways to earn Bilt points are one of the primary reasons we moved Bilt Rewards into its own category in our July 2025 valuations.
We'll update you as soon as we hear more about these new Bilt cards and any details affecting existing Bilt cardholders. Stay tuned.
