Excellent AA Business Class Award Availability to Europe This Summer
With American Airlines' massive AAdvantage devaluation now just two months away, it's a fantastic time to redeem any outstanding miles. The airline is currently making it very easy to do just that, with excellent business-class award availability on all of its flights to London.
You can currently book nonstop flights from Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York or Philadelphia to London in business class for just 50,000 miles each way plus modest taxes and fees — because these flights are operated by AA, you don't need to pay British Airways' outrageous surcharges, although you do still need to pay the UK Air Passenger Duty.
Note that while there are also return flights available from London, there are fewer dates with nonstop options to key markets in the US, so you might need to connect in a city like Charlotte or Philadelphia. Note that all of the examples below have at least four seats available in business class!

Note that some of the above dates may require a connection in either New York, Chicago or Philadelphia, but nonstop flights are available on most dates. Some flights (including select flights from JFK and all from LAX) are operated by AA's 777-300ER, which offers an excellent business-class product.
Availability will probably disappear pretty quickly, so if you think you might want to book, call AA right away at 800-882-8880 to put your dates on hold. If there's a long wait, try an international call center, instead.
