Up to 4,000 United Miles for Netflix Subscription

As I posted about last week, Netflix runs some pretty generous sign-up bonuses and they generally don't require contracts. That means, you can pay $8 for one month of service, get the bonus, and then cancel. Unlike some other purchases that I make just for miles (like buying cell phone screen wipes and wine openers for the US Airways Grand Slam Promotion), I actually use Netflix and find the service fast and reliable.
This offer, which gives 4,000 United miles for signing up for Netflix if you have a United credit card (2,000 if you don't have a United card), is pretty fantastic. Just like with the less lucrative 2,500 mile AA Netflix offer, if you already have Netflix, just use a new address and credit card and you should be fine. That is, unless you've signed up for a Mileage plus bonus in the past, in which case you probably won't get the miles.
If you don't have a United Mileageplus Visa, you can sign up for one here and get 25,000 miles after first purchase and an addition 5,000 for adding another user. Additionally, the $60 annual fee is waived for the first year and you'll get a $50 statement credit after your first purchase, a $25 travel certificate, and an upgrade certificate. However, since some people have been targeted to get 50,000 miles for signing up for a Mileageplus Visa, search your email before you sign up for this one.
