Two huge welcome offers launched this month, and they can seriously boost your points and miles balances. Both cards offer solid business credits and premium travel benefits like unlimited lounge access.
I love both of these cards because the points and miles are transferable rewards. You can take advantage of airline and hotel transfer partners and turn the points or miles you earn into a dream vacation — like I just did in Thailand.
Here are all the details:
Limited-time offer of 150,000 Amex points plus a $500 credit
You can earn a massive bonus of 150,000 Membership Rewards points on The Business Platinum Card® from American Express after spending $20,000, plus a $500 statement credit when you spend $2,500 on qualifying flights booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel, all in the first three months of card membership. You can earn one or both of these offers. Offer ends June 30, 2025.
This business card comes with premium travel perks and statement credits (enrollment is required for select benefits):
Centurion Lounge access and Priority Pass membership
Statement credit of up to $120 for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry
Airline fee statement credit of up to $200 annually
Gold elite status with Hilton Honors and Marriott Bonvoy
Access to the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and Hotel Collection
Even though the annual fee is $695 (see rates and fees), the annual statement credits and benefits more than offset that.
We haven’t seen an offer this huge on the Amex Business Platinum Card in a while, and certainly not with a unique $500 statement credit — we value this offer at $3,500 based on TPG’s April 2025 valuations.
Highest bonus ever — 350,000 Capital One miles
The Capital One Venture X Business is offering new cardholders the chance to earn the highest bonus ever available on this card — 150,000 bonus miles after spending $30,000 in the first three months from account opening. Plus, you can earn an additional 200,000 miles after spending $200,000 in the first six months.
Don’t get me wrong, that’s a hefty spending requirement, but if you own multiple businesses like I do, it’s worth it to reach that additional tier because the total bonus is valued at a staggering $6,475 based on TPG’s April 2025 valuations.
Why I love it
My favorite use of Capital One miles is transferring them to one of the issuer’s airline and hotel partners — especially for premium-cabin award seats or luxury hotel rooms. And even if a luxury hotel isn’t a points hotel, that doesn’t mean it’s out of reach.
I just stayed at the Capella Bangkok, rated the No. 1 luxury hotel on The World’s 50 Best Hotels list. The nightly rate was $700, but if I apply Capital One miles against that charge on my statement, it comes out to 70,000 miles per night — this bonus could be the equivalent of five free nights!
I also love that the Venture X Business provides unlimited access to the swanky new Capital One lounges popping up around the country. It earns 2 miles per dollar spent on everything so it’s a regular part of my card rotation to earn more on nonbonus category spending. The earning rates are even higher when you use Capital One’s travel-booking site: 10 miles per dollar spent on hotels and car rentals and 5 miles per dollar spent on flights and vacation rentals.
Bottom line
Both of these cards offer lucrative earning rates, travel benefits and practical business credits. And with welcome bonuses this high, it would be a huge miss to not snag one of these juicy offers while they are available for a limited time!
