Big bonus offers don’t come around often. I remember when the Chase Sapphire Reserve® launched with a 100,000-point bonus offer a few years ago. It was an exciting time at The Points Guy for sure — we had teamed up with Chase to help it with the launch. The market just exploded — Chase even ran out of metal cards temporarily because there was so much demand!
And now, there’s a new offer that is arguably even better.
Chase just launched the best-ever offer of 120,000 bonus points on the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card. New cardmembers can earn the bonus after spending $8,000 in the first three months from account opening.
If you can hit that spending requirement (here are a few tips on how), I think it’s a slam-dunk offer, and quite possibly the best overall offer I have seen this year. While we have seen targeted offers of 150,000 points and more through CardMatch, this is a publicly available offer.
I love my Ink Business Preferred card and its bonus categories — especially the online advertising category, which earns 3 points per dollar spent on up to $150,000 a year (and 1 point after that). Those 450,000 points you earn if you max out that category are worth 1.5 cents each — and possibly more if you leverage Chase’s network of airline and hotel transfer partners and transfer bonuses when available. The 120,000-point bonus offer is worth a massive $2,460 (according to TPG’s July 2024 valuations).
In my opinion, this card is a heavyweight, especially for the low annual fee of $95.
Chase points are very versatile and I use mine as quickly as I earn them. If you own a small business or even have a business idea, you can apply using your Social Security number — check out our post to see who might be eligible for a business credit card (you might be surprised!) and how to apply.
Overall, this is a really exciting offer on a card that I personally have gotten a lot of value out of, so I highly recommend checking it out.
Have a great weekend,
BK
