Cruise lines used to wait until January to roll out their best deals, timing their offers to coincide with the big spike in cruise bookings known as wave season. However, that has changed in recent years. Now, many of the best cruise deals of the year come around Black Friday.
As you’ll see in the new TPG guides below, the market is flooded with promotions touting lower cruise fares, onboard spending credits, free cabin upgrades, free drink packages and more. If you’re in the market for a cruise for 2026 and beyond, this week is a great time to book.
Also, if you’re in the midst of shopping for a cruise, don’t miss my personal guide to six ways to get a deal on a cruise, which talks about everything from when to cruise to which sailings to pick for maximum savings.
