Save 10 cents per gallon at Mobil and Exxon with Walmart+, included with the Amex Platinum

Walmart+ has added two new gas station partners — Mobil and Exxon — where you can save 10 cents per gallon on gas at participating stations in the U.S.
As a refresher, Walmart+ is Walmart's new subscription service that offers free two-day shipping on Walmart.com orders and other perks, similar to Amazon Prime. A subscription costs $12.95 per month and is included as a perk of The Platinum Card® from American Express. (Plus ups excluded.)

Mobil and Exxon join Walmart-, Sam's Club- and Murphy-branded gas stations as fuel partners, where Walmart+ subscribers also save up to 10 cents per gallon on gas.
To save at Mobil and Exxon stations, download the latest version of the Walmart app and enable location services. Open the app when you arrive at a Mobil or Exxon station, and the app will automatically recognize you're at a participating gas station. Then, enter your pump number, select the card you'd like to pay with and you can start pumping gas with the discount.

Alternatively, you can go to the "Services" tab and click the "Member prices on fuel" button. Then, scan the QR code on the pump to begin pumping gas.

The 10-cent-per-gallon discount will be automatically applied to your purchase. All fuel grades qualify for the discount and there's no maximum on how much you can save, even if you fill up multiple times per day. Unfortunately, you cannot stack the Walmart+ discount with the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program since you pay through the Walmart app, not at the pump.
To maximize your purchase, make sure you have a credit card that earns bonus points on gas linked to your Walmart account.
For Walmart+ members who are frequent drivers, additional savings at Mobil and Exxon stations can mean huge savings on the road. Walmart+ members can now save on gas in all U.S. states and major metro areas, which is important given Walmart has no presence in big cities like New York. And with nationwide gas prices averaging $4.13 per gallon according to AAA, any discount is welcome.
