Relais & Châteaux, which offers access to exclusive luxury hotels, restaurants and experiences around the world, is ending the Club 5C loyalty program.

A TPG reader forwarded on an email from the company, which says Relais & Châteaux plans to end the Club 5C program on May 31. Club 5C benefits will still apply to any stay booked before May 31 that's completed before June 30, 2019.

Relais & Châteaux says it will be announcing a new program that will offer "gratitude, new and enriching experiences," according to the email. The company says it will be revealing the details of the new program some time shortly after the May 31 conclusion of Club 5C.

The ending of the Club 5C program marks bit of a loss for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders, who could gain status with the program after only two stays. We'll be keeping an eye out for the new program once it's announced, but for now there are no details on what the program will look like or if having a Sapphire Reserve card in your wallet will make attaining any type of status in the new program easier.
