These massive new cruise cabanas will be among the biggest ever
Round up nine of your closest friends, and prepare for an epic beach day with one of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest cabana types.
Dubbed Supervillas, they hold up to 10 people and offer a ton of amenities. You can find them on the line’s new private beach destination, Celebration Key, set to open next summer on the south side of Grand Bahamas Island in the Bahamas. They’re some of the largest private rental spaces for the cruise line at sea or ashore.
Don't need something quite that big? Celebration Key will offer a variety of villas, daybeds and cabanas to accommodate your group size and budget.
Carnival announced the new for-fee rentals along with news about other exclusive areas on the island, including an adults-only beach club with its own infinity pool, beach and restaurant.
Celebration Key Supervillas

These private escapes from the regular crowds will come in two types across both the Starfish Lagoon family-friendly area and Calypso Lagoon adults-friendly and adults-only areas, offering passengers a variety of perks.
Over-the-Lagoon Supervillas
Price: $1,999.99 for up to 10 people
Celebration Key’s largest cabana-style offering is the Over-the-Lagoon Supervilla. You’ll find two over the Calypso Lagoon and two near the Starfish Lagoon.
Visitors can expect shaded seating, including sofas and chairs; a dining table for eight; cabinets for locking up valuables; minifridges with water and soda included; and plenty of outdoor seating in the form of sun loungers, swing chairs and hammocks.
Fresh fruit will be ready for you on your arrival, and lunch is included and will be delivered by a cabana attendant. But perhaps the best part is the private waterslide that will take villagoers directly into the lagoon.
Beach Supervillas
Price: $1,799.99 for up to 10 people
The slightly less pricey Beach Supervillas — two at Calypso Lagoon and two at Starfish Lagoon — have a bit less space and offer most of what the Over-the-Lagoon Supervillas do. You won’t find a slide or quite as much seating, but you’ll still find a shaded sofa and chairs, a dining table for eight, sun loungers, a hammock, a fridge with chilled drinks, lunch delivery, and a place to lock up your valuables.
Other Celebration Key cabana types
If you want your own private or semiprivate space at Celebration Key without paying the big bucks, Carnival has plenty of other options to serve as your home base for the day.
Large Cabanas
Price: $899.99 for up to six people
Located around Calypso and Starfish lagoons, Large Cabanas include four sun loungers with umbrellas, locking cabinets, a sofa and dining table with four chairs, privacy curtains, a ceiling fan, fresh fruit upon arrival, lunch delivery, and a minifridge stocked with water and soft drinks.
Over-the-Lagoon Cabanas
Price: $739.99 for up to four people
These cabanas are located on peninsulas over the Starfish and Calypso lagoons. They offer the same functionality and features of the regular cabanas but with a ceiling fan and a private sun shelf (a poolside platform where loungers can be placed in shallow water).
Cabanas
Price: $599.99 for up to four people
Available at several locations surrounding the Starfish and Calypso lagoons, standard cabanas include a sofa, armchairs and two sun loungers, as well as a cooler with chilled water bottles, private locking cabinet and privacy curtains. Fresh fruit and other snacks are available upon arrival.
Aquabanas

Price: $449.99 for up to eight people
Aquabanas are sturdy, comfy floating cabanas found in the family-friendly Starfish Lagoon. A floating table allows the whole family to sit with their feet in the water as they relax and spend time together, and steps provide easy access to the freshwater lagoon.
Water Daybeds
Price: $149.99 for up to two people
Water daybeds include “cool” lounging on the sun shelf at Calypso Lagoon.
Daybeds
Price: $119.99 for up to two people
Located at Calypso Lagoon and Starfish Lagoon, daybeds provide a plush place to lounge with pillows, a canopy for shade and privacy curtains.
Another exclusive area — just for adults

Passengers seeking other ways to find exclusivity during visits to Celebration Key can pay for entry to the Pearl Cove Beach Club, an adults-only area for guests 18 and older. Located at the westernmost point of the beach destination, it will offer an 11,000-square-foot infinity pool with a sun shelf, a private beach, a swim-up bar and water loungers, as well as sun loungers with umbrellas and pool-area daybeds.
A DJ will play tropical lounge music, and food and drink service is available from a dedicated restaurant with an elevated menu. A bar and lounge area allows visitors to choose to sit inside or outside.
There are three admission tiers, each of which includes different amenities, from basic to more inclusive.
- Option 1: This least-expensive option allows for club access and one drink for $99 per person.
- Option 2: For $139.99 per person, you’ll score admission plus open bar (up to 10 drinks).
- Option 3: For $179.99 per person, you can include food from the Pearl Cove restaurant with your admission and open bar.
Carnival Cruise Line is currently taking reservations for cabana and villa rentals and entry to Pearl Cove Beach Club.
